Once a Golden Bear, Always a Golden Bear: Welcoming Our New Alumni Ambassadors

We are excited to introduce the newest members of our Alumni Student Ambassador program, a group of diverse high school students representing the wide ranging interests and activities of our student body. This year, we are thrilled to welcome eight juniors to join an already outstanding cohort of seven seniors.
The mission of the Alumni Student Ambassador program is to build meaningful connections across generations of Golden Bears and increase awareness of the UA Education Foundation and the UA Alumni Association.
Over the years, ambassadors have brought this mission to life in creative ways: by painting a hand print mural on the old high school before it was taken down, collecting reflections from alumni about “what makes you happy,” and creating an interactive trivia game about alumni and UA Schools on Golden Bear Boulevard.
Be on the lookout for this year’s ambassadors’ educational and entertaining
project. You won’t want to miss it!

The Upper Arlington Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides access to meaningful opportunities for students that are beyond the budget of the Upper Arlington School District. Established in 1985, UA+Ed is permanently structured to fund programs and projects today and for generations to come. The Upper Arlington Alumni Association is an important part of the foundation and keeps graduates connected, engaged, and motivated to pay it forward.
